요즘 테슬라를 보면서 전기차의 대중화에 대해서 많은 고민과 관심을 가지고 있다. 그러던중 재미난 발상으로 전기차 충전을 제안한 HEVO Power라는 회사를 알게 되었다.
보니 벌써 1년이 지난 아이템인데 이제서야 알게 되었다.

3D 프린터와 같이 갑자기 진화 속도가 빨라지고 있다는 생각이다. 어찌보면 산업상으로 초기 관심에서 발전 단계로 앞으론 많은 회사들의 진입과 퇴출이 빈번하게 이뤄질것 같다.

Wireless induction charging hasn’t fully taken off since it’s not entirely efficient. The process of transferring the energy from the induction charging unit to a battery pack results in the loss of large amounts of energy. Hevo Power has decided to use a resonance-based system that reduces these energy losses and that also recharges a battery much faster.
쉽게 줄여서 말하면 과거 무선 충전의 전력 누수 문제를 공진기반 시스템(resonance-based system)을 통해 전력 누수를 줄이고 더불어 이 기술을 통해 충전을 더욱 빠르게 한다는 것이다.
