위 영상은 조금 잘렸는데 전체 영상을 구하기가 어렵다..
어째든 저 이탈리안 의사는 지금 머리에 몸을 이식하는 것이 가능하다고 말하고 있다. (앞선 글에선 머리 이식으로 말하고 있지만 나 개인적으론 머리에 몸을 이식하는 것으로 생각된다.)
이런 그의 시도에 대부분의 학계 전문가들은 가능성이 없다고 하지만 이 이탈리아 의사는 polyethylene glycol을 통해서 기존의 신경 접합 시도에서 겪었던 어려움을 이겨낼 수 있다고 보는 것 같다.
정말 가능할까? 전문가들이 하나같이 회의적이라면 실패할 가능성이 높아 보이지만 정말 만에 하나 성공한다면 이것은 무엇을 의미하게 될까? 그리고 이것은 우리의 삶을 어떻게 바꿔놓게 될까?
내년이면 수술을 할 것이라고 보도되고 있는데 결과가 궁금하다...
